http://www.husarctic.org is the web-site for the research project HuSArctic (Human Security as a promotional tool for societal security in the Arctic: Addressing Multiple Vulnerability to its Population with Specific Reference to the Barents Region). The purpose of the web-site is to help disseminating the findings and created documents of the project, and to act as a platform to interactively communicate with our project partners, stakeholders and anyone interested.
The project and its core staff is hosted in the Northern Institute for Environmental and Minority Law, in the Arctic Centre – an institute of the University of Lapland. The project has received funding of 550.000 € by the Academy of Finland, and will be carried out over a period of 4 years (Jan. 2015 – Dec. 2018).
